The process outlined below provides a high-level overview of our typical new home construction process.
Our Process
Although everyone’s new home buying experience varies in general you can expect the following steps in building your new Outlook Construction home:
- Choose building lot (If not already owned)
- Home plan selection
- Choose from one of our home plans
- Bring your own home plan
- Custom design a home plan
- Fill out our New Home Preferences Questionnaire
- Receive a New Home Quote
- Settle on options / upgrades
- Sign construction agreement
- Apply for your construction loan (typically takes 1-2 months)
- Close on loan (Purchase lot if not already done)
- Setup your account in our online system
- Finalize selections & other preferences
- Construction begins (typically takes 6-9 months)
- Framing walkthrough
- Final walkthrough
